The people accountable.
Two principals run Two Sevens Capital. They make the investment and operating decisions, and they answer for them.
Adam Batstone
Adam runs the investment side — he decides what the firm buys and finds the money to buy it. He came up in private wealth, advising high-net-worth families for the better part of fifteen years. Then he crossed into private-equity real estate. By the end of that run he was the Ultimate Designated Person for its exempt-market dealer — the one regulators hold accountable — responsible for about $1.5 billion across roughly 2,500 clients. He’s a Chartered Investment Manager. He founded Two Sevens in 2018, and he’s on every deal from first look to close.
David Darch
David spent 29 years in consumer goods before he ever looked at real estate. He started in the field and worked his way up to running a national food brand’s Canadian business. For the last decade of that, his job was mergers: buying companies and integrating them into one operation. He came to Two Sevens in 2023 to run operations, and he’s the partner you’ll actually deal with. The job is much the same: keep the books accurate and keep investors informed.
